Moving to Buckhurst Hill at the beginning of 2002, we developed the bancassurance side of our company and branched into recruiting relationship managers and branch managers for a couple of the biggest names in banking.

F S People began recruiting back in April 2001, and at that time the majority of our coverage was within the mortgage and estate agency industries. The idea of our company was to do our best on behalf of the candidate as well as the client, and take a more down to earth approach than people are used to in financial services recruitment.
At that time, F S People consisted of Ian Tomei, Sue Jamieson and Paula Fisher, 1 fax machine and a p.c. that didn’t really work.
From a one room office in South Woodford, East London the business grew quickly and even with the events of 9/11 bringing uncertainty to the market, we enjoyed a great first year.
